Ingredient a hit with 435 South

Gloria Gale, contributing writer for 435 South Magazine, recently reviewed one of the new restaurants at Park Place, Ingredient, calling it Johnson County’s answer to a delightful dinner and lunch.

From the article:

“My ciabatta sandwich oozed brie between the husky roasted chunks of turkey. Accompanied by the savory soup, dense with slivered mushrooms, I was thoroughly delighted.

My two (friends) were engulfed in their big bowls. A meaty Cajun salmon top a crisp round red tortilla was a meal in itself but was dressed with avocado, roasted peppers and black beans all tangled up with the greens. Just call it Money’s ‘Garden in a Bowl.’

The clutch of tables quickly filled as soon as parties left, but it was fun just lingering and watching sort of Johnson County’s homage to a quasi-urban scene in the middle of suburbia.”
