Starwood Hotels, the parent company of St. Regis, Sheraton, Westin and W Hotels is bringing its two newest concepts to Park Place.

aloft, W Hotels’ newest concept, is an ideal choice for young professionals and business travelers. Delivering more than just a place to sleep, aloft offers fun, fresh alternatives to the norm, including stylishly furnished loft-style guest rooms, oversized showers, flat panel televisions and numerous easy-to-use tech savvy services. aloft’s cool bar scene and hip feel fits well within the urban style of Park Place. aloft at Park Place is a six-story hotel with 158 rooms.

element, a new extended-stay hotel brand from Westin, combines modern design with smart features—from modular furniture designed to encourage multi-tasking and productivity to swiveling flat-screen televisions to a kitchenette in each room. The eight-story hotel will include 178 rooms perfect for travelers on extended stay and families visiting the Leawood area. After spending a busy day of shopping, dining, ice skating or movie watching, travelers can return to element to unwind.

Both hotels are operated under the Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide flag and will open fall 2008.
