The February 8, 2008 issue of the Kansas City Business Journal reported that Tortoise Capital Advisors, LLC’s headquarters will nearly double in size when it makes the move to Park Place and leaves its Corporate Woods location behind.

Mike Mayer, an office broker with Colliers Turley Martin Tucker, said “Park Place’s walkability and other features separate the mixed-use development’s office space from others. Interest will probably be strongest from companies whose executives live nearby and want to be near amenities planned for Park Place, as well as the neighboring Town Center.”
