03.14.2008
The Kansas City Business Journal’s Web site announced that Ericsson is moving its Kansas City headquarters to Park Place.
From the article:
“Ericsson will move office to Leawood from Lenexa.
Ericsson's Kansas City-area office will move in June to Park Place in Leawood from Lenexa, the Sweden-based mobile telecommunications company said Thursday.
Scott Willis, Ericsson's executive vice president and general manager at the company's 80-person Kansas City-area headquarters, said in a release that moving to Park Place will improve access to a large customer, Sprint Nextel Corp. (NYSE: S), whose headquarters is across the street.
Ericsson will occupy slightly more than 14,000 square feet at Park Place.
The new mixed-use development northeast of 119th Street and Nall Avenue already has leased more than 17,000 square feet to Tortoise Capital Advisors LLC. The energy investment company will move in May from Corporate Woods in Overland Park.”
